How to change margins in Google Docs Step by Step process 2024

In today's world, we all use internet and first thing we do is using search engine like Google. Google is a well know MNC company which provides varieties of services and products. We all know that our parents does work in office to earn living for us.  

To ease the office operation Microsoft comes with an Office package called MS office and Microsoft 365 like excel, power point, word,etc. Google has also launched its own version of MS office which is called Google suit. 

What is Google docs?

Google introduced its own version of office package called Google suit and Google docs is one of feature or program created by Google LLC. Google docs is similar to MS word but little less features. Google suit is completely cloud based operation so its totally online. 

How to change margins in Google Docs?

You can change the margins in Google Docs from only one option and that is from Page Setup dialogue box.

1. Click in File and Page Setup

 2. Then you can change the margins by clicking at any of the box below Margins

 3. Then click Ok when you are done putting your numbers

4. The default margins can be set to 1 inch on each side but you can change by simply clicking on the left corner Set as Margins after you change the margins.

 

5. Then comes the default margins and it only takes affect when you will use another document. It will not be done in existing documents.
