After thousand of jobs devoured by AI but new job forms as flexible opportunities which is data annotation jobs. There are many legit companies like Data Annotation.tech, Alignner or Telus Digital who pays quite a lot of money while being a part timer. They give above 15 dollar per hour and sometimes above 40 dollar per hour. This are being from the start of AI driven world but newly a platform emerged as a game changer in the world of Data Annotation jobs which Mercor.
What is Mercor?
Mercor is a 2B$ company that connects global talents with remote jobs and project based. The founder of this company are Brendan Foody, Adarsh Hiremath and Surya Midha;etc. This company provides Data Annotation jobs to non-technical, technical and subject matter specialists across the globe. It is based in San Francisco, California. The foundation date of this company is 2023.
Is it Legit? My Honest take on it
Well, first of all every company has bad reviews and good reviews like the Tata Company who performs better than most companies in the World.
According to Trustpilot, Mercor gets 4 star out of 5 star and 65 percent reviews are 5 start (positive). They are saying the platform has good customer service and a very supportive team but some people said about inconsistent payments, AI interviews felt data taking Satanists. Glassdoor has 3.8 star reviews about mercor out of 5 star which is great. Reddit (the worst social media platform that suckzz) has mixed reviews while some praising the interview and legitimacy but others are not happy with it and pay. They don't liked the interview with AI because they think its scammy and data taking Satanists.
My personal take is 50-50 because I have not worked with them but I took interview and liked the interview process which was better than Micro 1 (I don't recommend that one for being pathetic user experience and Stupid Ai).
