How to set once photo view on WhatsApp

To set a photo to view once on WhatsApp, follow these steps:

For WhatsApp iPhone:

1. Open an individual or group chat.

2. Tap the *camera icon* to take a photo or video, or select one from your *Albums*. Alternatively, tap the *attach icon*, then tap:

    - *Camera* to take a new photo or video with your camera.

    - *Photos* to select an existing photo or video from your device.

3. Tap the *view once icon*.

4. When this turns green, you're in view once mode.

5. Tap the *send icon*.

For WhatsApp Android:

1. Open an individual or group chat.

2. Tap the *attach icon*, then tap:

    - *Camera* to take a new photo or video with your camera.

    - *Gallery* to select an existing photo or video from your device.

3. Tap the *view once icon*.

4. When this turns green, you're in view once mode.

5. Tap the *send icon* ¹.

Once the recipient opens the photo, it will disappear from the chat. Note that the recipient won't be able to forward, share, or copy the photo, and screenshot blocking is enabled for view once media ¹.
